Tear yourself away from all of the hot men lounging around the hotel pool, because it’s well worth the one-hour drive to the coast to experience the home of U.S. space exploration. You can sample the exhibits, enjoy a bus tour and take a selfie with a guy in full astronaut drag.
Walt Disney World
Do we even have to say it? Yes, because some people are going to think they’re above it all. Don’t be a smartypants. Get a day pass and experience some of the most fabulous theme-park rides in the world. If you get home without posting at least one photo of yourself with Mickey, Cinderella and the rest of the gang, you’ll regret it.
This is the more sophisticated version of a Disney theme park. Dedicated to technological innovation, you really will find yourself enthralled by the up-to-the-minute and superbly done exhibits.
Universal Studios Orlando
A tad darker and edgier than the other studio’s park (relatively speaking), the movie- and water- themed rides are daytime fun, while Universal CityWalk offers good dining and grown-up entertainment such as a resident Blue Man Group.
